Murder on the Orient Express: The Official Graphic Novel is now available in stores and online!
From 2021-2023, I worked on the official graphic novel adaptation of Agatha Christie’s legendary novel Murder on the Orient Express. For this project, I adapted the full novel into a 267-page comic script. After drafting page layouts for the entire graphic novel, I delivered final, full-color artwork as well as dialogue, sound effects, and color artwork. I was in contact with the Christie Estate and worked closely with editor Julia Elliott throughout. This was the largest project I’ve taken on in my career and I’m so proud of the final product. Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery has an eclectic cast of characters, from working-class laborers and manservants to European royalty and nouveau riche. In designing these characters, including the iconic detective Hercule Poirot, I was in charge of bringing them to life in the pages and panels of the graphic novel.
